What you consider fast, isn't what I consider fast. Come one come all, stil, tl, who ever ... they all go down. You think 145 is fast inside of a cage, how about 145 with the street flying by under your feet. It's not the safest way to get around, but hey we are talking about racing. R6

The STi is a sick car. The car stock is 300hp/300tq and that is at 7-8 psi... That car can easily be boosted into the 15-20 psi range and would be pushing over 400-450hp/375-400tq. That is just by raising the boost. You never know what else he had...

For those who don't know what the WRX STi is, The full name (including company) is Subaru Imprezza WRX STi. The WRX STi explains the trim. Even with a regular WRX, they have potential to get pretty fast as well. This is actually one of the cars I'm considering.

Tire pressure
All you guys seem to know alot about going fast, but have you considered your tire pressure. Z rated tires are only rated for those speeds at certain presures. Not to mention that even the TL owners manual says to increase your tire presure for high speed driving...."Acura always recommends that you not drive faster than the posted speed limits and conditions allow. If you decide it is safe to drive at high speeds (over 118 mph) be sure to adjust your tire pressure as recommended below..." So basicaly if you plan on driving those kinds of speeds and havin a blow out at 150 isnt on your list of things to do then increase you front tire preasure to 39 psi and your rear to 35 psi. Not adjusting the tire preasure accordingly can cause excessive heat to build up causing sudden tire failure. Dont believe me? Page 221 right hand side of your TL owners manual.
