04 530 vs. 04 TL is better than arguing about 04 TLs and sub 01 540s.
there's no doubt a 04 545 would ruin a TL. the pricing's way off.
a more fair fight would be 04 TL vs G35.
let's not forget the Acura value though. depending on the person, it's not all about the speed. i do recall reading fugly above...

Orange is easy on the eyes at night. There are tons of articles on the web about driving and night vision and colors. I love the look of my TL's dash at night, but it is not as easy to see as my BMW's was....pure orange. My Audi's was pure red, also easy to see, but not as easy at the orange.....I know it sounds strange, but it was a great dash color.
BTW - I switched to Acura from BMW for 2 reasons: 1 - to give Acura a try (I have owned Mercedes, Audi and BMW - Lexus is next) and 2 - to save money (recently divorced)....my oil change in my BMW was right at $200. In my Acura it costs $17 at the dealership.

BMW540 is much superior to TL in terms of ride comfort. I have driven my TL and ride on friend's 540i on the same brick-paved road, gosh, totally different feel!!!
TL is bone jarring and teeth cracking, while the 540i filters the bumps into minor ripples....
I have been criticizing TL's ride, and my opponent always say: "if you want a cushy ride get a ES330".
Reality is, good handling can be combined with ride comfort, it doesn't have to be achieved through rigir suspension, BMW 540 is an example.
Remember, you get what you paid for, no "Value Luxury car" ever exists.

they have more torque too, my mom has a 2003 540i, and when i drive it, i feel the power way more
