About 10 days at the track.

That would be my suggestion at least. Any you'd be faster after doing that than any of those mods would do for you.

How much are procats running now? You can pull off a great exhaust in the 400-500 dollar range.

If i'm going with the exhaust, the only one i'd want is the Comptech, and thats $1000!

Procats....would that really help on stock exhaust?

A-Spec suspension, $600 to buy, $250-300 to have installed unless you and a buddy do it. That was the best thing I ever did to my TL, as I've said countless times before. Why bother going faster if you don't have the handling to match?

procats gains are so much more worth it than the ct exhaust even with stock exhaust.

Ok...how does this sound....

AEM cold air intake
Comptech RSB
UR Underdrive pulley
blacked out headlights/blacked out grille/roadblocker rear lights
Tien SS coilovers
Tinted windows

Thats about 2k....plus 500 to install the mechanical stuff ( maybe more...i can save up maybe $200 more in a couple days lol )

Covers everything....looks,engine performance,handling.....

Why are you only considering the Comptech exhaust?

Also, the blacked out headlights arent going to cost you anything except for supplies (10-15 dollars) unless you are able to find a shop to do them.

i'd ditch the pulleys and the tien ss's. buy the tien basics and invest the saved money into the a-spec body kit.

The TL really needs the body kit to look nice, stock just looks so vanilla.

Most dealers (including Hondacuraworld, our parts sponsor) won't split the A-Spec suspension from the wheels unless you have a guaranteed buyer for the wheels.

Therefore, most of us turn to eBay, where those dealers who ARE willing to split usually turn for a sale. Just do a search for TL A-Spec and it'll turn up very easily. It costs $600-650 depending on the dealer selling it. I paid $600 2 1/2 years ago when I bought mine and they're still the same price.

how did you price a-spec suspension at being $600?
i asked my dealer if i could just get the suspension without the rims and tires he said no, its one complete package for $2800

Yeah, I can't find it sold by itself anywhere.....

eh whatever, i've decided to go with the Tien SS Should look sweet

$1,150 installed isn't to bad...

I'm also going with the CT RSB, AEM CAI, and UR pulley....I'll install the CAI by myself and have a friend do the RSB. I need to find someone to do the pulley though.

That would be about $1,800 for everything installed then just get full tint and black out the headlights

19" Games 99b, Comptech exhaust, and A-spec kit will come next spring/summer i guess..

My friend said I would have to disassemble the whole rear suspension to install the sway bar? Why is it so cheap BTW? Aren't they usually like $250

Your friend is wrong. Look up the DIY...even if you don't know the first thing about cars it wont take more than an hour.

yeah, you don't need to disassemble anything except loosening 4 bolts for the bushings and 2 bolts for the endlinks. I droped my driver side muffler for ease of install(2 bolts).

Most sways you see for that price are sets, front and rear. the comptech is a real good price considering how much they charge for their other mods.

You can get the a-spec suspension without the wheels from Acura Las Vegas for $600. The RSB is an easy install, easier than getting the stock intake out! But yes I agree that sounds good........CAI, a-spec suspension and RSB will do wonders, you may want to substitute thermoblock spacers for the pulley.

I dont think that the comptech exhaust is gonna get you much just remove the mid muffler and replace the resonator if you want it to sound lots better, the performance restiction is in the cats.

you can always add the a-spec body kit for $800 DIY, and the 19" wheels are just for looks cuz it will drain some of those power mods big time!

Do you think they'll ship the A-spec suspension if I call them up? The only thing is I want more than a 1" drop, and even though I like that its cheaper than the Tiens, i know i'll want to go lower later on.

Also, what is a thermoblock spacer?

Check out the outlaw engineering website or do a search on this site for them. It is essentially an insulator that keeps the heat from the engine block and exhaust maniford from heating up the intake manifold. definately more HP added than the pulley would add.
