Outside temperature is off by 5 degrees - can it be fixed?

Hi there. I have been looking through the forums and cant find the answer.

My 2014 RLX consistently reads at least 5-7 degrees hotter than the actual outside temperature. Is there a way to manually adjust the reading on the dash?

Let me know if anyone has any suggestions. The dealer was no help at all.

Thank you

Loren

I would think the sensor would need replacing if it reads inaccurately.

What did you dealer tell you?

The dealer said it was normal. I hate when I get that answer.

Yes, you can adjust it in either vehicle or system settings.

Thanks again! It worked perfect. I was able to bring the reading down 5 degrees. At least it will be closer now.
I can’t bellieve that the sealer was not trained on this especially since it was in the set up protocol.

Anyhow thanks so much

I'm glad I could help. I don't understand how he wouldn't know this, since Honda has offered this since my 2003 Accord
