Agreed. The wheels do look great. I'm always a sucker for a freshly washed black car too!

I'd spend hours wiping that thing down. These days, not so much. Just took advantage of a rare 80 degree day in February here in the Carolina's. By the way, it just finished raining with a little lightening. Good thing for the garage!

I'm curious though- are those OEM wheels? It looks like the Acura center caps don't match the finish of the wheels.
If you're willing to spend the money, you could actually have the center caps painted to match the wheels. It'll just help complete the look.
But either way, it all still looks good!

Yup they are the Acura OEM accessory wheels, offered for the RLX

TacoBello and pgeorg,
Pgeorg is correct. Those are the optional OEM wheels from Acura/Honda. I too was disappointed to see the center caps not really match the wheels. I have thought about having the caps done to match, but have had problems in the past with the finish not lasting on the caps. Maybe the wheel washing chemicals ate away at the finish. Strong enough for the wheels, just not the caps. Just not good experience with dipped, plated, etc. caps. I may as well leave them as they are and not waste the money or the effort. If nothing else, the wheels are different and unless you are looking hard, or are observant like many on this forum are, you'll never notice the different finish.

Thanks. No, the wheels were purchased and installed after the deal was done. The dealer wanted way too much and wasn't budging an inch for the wheels and installation when I made the deal for the car. After a month or so of ownership, I bought them online and had them installed locally.

I like the slightly darker tinted chrome wheels on a dark car with chrome accents. Makes it stand out a little without being too gaudy. New wheels are usually the only mod I will do and I prefer OEM stuff if possible. The wheels came from Acura Parts For Less. They were a little over 2K, which included shipping and extra set of TPMS sensors. The dealer wanted 3K and that did not include installation. I had them mounted an balanced for about $80. So roughly $2200 total.
