Navigation DVD update cycle?
acuranavi.com has a 2015 Brown DVD map update, on sale for $99 until 2015-07-15.
My question: what's the update cycle on the data? I don't want to buy an update now, and have another one come out in a few months.
In my RL, the update was usually in the fall, although I didn't follow it closely the past few years.

You're right that it's usually in the fall.
A couple of people have told me that they felt that the Brown DVD release will probably cause them not to release the fall data DVD; however, that's sheer speculation on all our parts.
The Brown DVD updates parts of the system firmware. It seems to have reset some settings for us as well, so it was a little annoying that we weren't warned about that.
Things that we might have wanted to see the most, like being able to move the Audio Sources around, there's no sign of. I think that most of us would like to have Pandora and Aha! on the first page, and move a couple of the others onto the back page. :-)
