Will a DVD audio disc play in my 2016 Acura RLX?

It depends on whether by DVD audio you mean DVD-Audio (which I understand does not work) or just playing music files that are saved on a DVD. I had been wondering why at least the latter was supposedly not possible given that map updates come on DVD media. Today I tested burning some MP3s to a DVD+RW disc and I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could play the disc in my 2016 SH-AWD, with the disc type DVD displayed on the screen as the disc played. I had previously tried burning music files to a DVD+R disc and found that the disc would not play, so there may be certain requirements for DVDs to be playable.
