14 RLX HFL module
14 RLX HFL module
Hoping to get some help. Ive had the battery drain issues now. My bluetooth handsfree has quit working. Dealer unplugged it as they want $1600 to replace. Car has 80k miles on it seems like it shouldn't be bad. Does anybody know where the module is located. I can find info on every other Acura models but not specifically the RLX. Mine is a 14 advance paws model.
Thanks for any help.

I just had that module go bad on my 2007 MDX about 2 months ago. Same issue, it would drain the battery if I went longer than 4 or 5 days without driving the car. I just unplugged mine and all is well. They said it was very common on the MDX. I do find it interesting that it is still an issue on a 2014. You would think it would be designed to not cause a power draw when it fails.
Oh, and this is my first post here. Looking for a 2018 RLX

It's the capacitors. I took out my module, removed the board and replaced the SMD caps with modified radial (max ~10.5mm height). Best bet if I were to redo it would be to move from electrolytic to SMD polymer capacitors - reassemble, reinstall. $20 in capacitors and maybe an hour, if you're handy with electronics.
