I am not sure I would wait for that one....Everyone will agree that the RLX is simply an extension of the RL, so under the RL tab, you have the 3rd gen RLX (2013+)....not sure how much easier they can make it. Otherwise, the vertical tab would be too crammed....They did the same with the TLX.

Maybe I used the wrong term....
What I meant, was to have an area for photos, wheels/suspension etc.. just like the 1st and 2nd gen RL forums have.

A good question. I think it should happen when there are enough posts here to justify. That will come in time. When it happens, I'd probably recommend a similar setup to the 2G RL forum:

Photos
Audio/Electronics
Wheels/suspension

Or some such.

My guess is that the RLX and the SH-RLX will require different categories, they are substantially different.
The least posters can do is put Year, and model in their signature. I have read hundreds of posts where a response depends on the model etc. but the OP never specifies.

I'm not sure there are enough of us to warrant sub-forums. LOL....

Generally, I think, whatever you're posting about the 3G RLX - 5G Legend, we'd all have an interest in.

Also...something I've noticed since I've started posting here more often and interacting, is that the moderators do not seem to have complete access to the backend admincp to create drop down menus and make new forums.

Even if it made sense (and I don't really think that it does), it would be a bit of a wait.

:-)

For now, definitely not. When there is enough traffic to merit the division, it could happen, though.

That is an admin-level function, not a moderator function.

I'll bring the suggestions to the admins for comment in the near future.

a better approach is to just change the header title of the forum to be "RL/RLX" and "TL/TLX". that way it doesn't clutter up the navigation bar, but still provides the user the ability to see where the new models are located without having to hover over the menu option to see that they are listed there.

Suggested in the past, and was not accepted. I can try again, though.

The excellent suggestion by Holografique will not be accepted for one of two reasons:
1 The people that administer did not think of it themselves or
2 the administrators have not had the prerequisite number of meetings or conferences to be able to make a decision.

I still have mixed feelings.

Not that many of us even own RLX, and the ones of us that do are probably interested in whatever you have to say, regardless of the subject.

But, that's just one dumb old man's opinion, of course.

I somehow suspect that the 3G RLX (5G Legend) is just never going to be all that popular among people who tend to write about cars.
