Weird Behavior When Turning Off Car - Chimes
I've noticed something strange in my (new to me) 2014 RLX. Probably half the time when I park in my garage and turn off the car and open the door the chime goes off about every second like the lights are on or the keys are still in the car (they are, in my pocket). It doesn't happen all the time and I have never had this happen with any other Acura I have owned. Any insight into this? None of the lights on the dash are on (like to indicate the lights are on - they are on auto) and it stops after I close the door (meaning if I get out of the car and close the door and then reopen it, it doesn't start again).

It might be the car key security warning. This will go off as a reminder because it thinks you're leaving your key fob behind.
Also, if you want to lock your car while its still running running, leave the fob in the car while taking the physical key out. You then use the physical key to the lock the doors.

I used to work at an Acura dealer and drove many RLXs and I actually noticed this. I do remember seeing this a couple times and thinking it was weird. I didn't do anything different or have the headlights on, but it would chime like you mentioned when I opened the driver's door.
No clue why or how, I would bring it to your Acura dealer and have them reset it and see if it helps. Good luck!
