Squeaky steering wheel
Just noticed my steering wheel started squeaking/creaking when it retracts in after I turn the car off - sometimes worse than others.
Anyone else experience this?

^ thanks guys. I've read that thread a few times but somehow missed that one. Glad to see there is a fix for it. I appreciate the replies.

If your dealer is like mine, I just tell him and he does not even check, he just does it and get paid by Acura.

Just an update - my car is at the dealer right now. They have ordered a new steering column (I believe that's what they told me on the phone, but I'll know for sure once I see the work order). They said it's a half day job to fix. The technician said he's seen this before on a few MDX's too. They are keeping my car overnight and will do the work tomorrow.
They are also replacing my front grille because I had a few black spots on it that were smooth (ie. not stone chips) - as if the finish was coming off.
I have a 2015 TLX as a loaner and it's not bad. It's the 4 cylinder so that wouldn't be my preference - but it's a nicer ride than I expected. You can definitely tell it's the RLX's little brother though - the overall feel of the cabin is definitely a step down in all aspects.

I had this TSB (14-31) completed 10 days ago. Seems to be OK now, Service tech took six hours to complete. No one there had done this before. The work instruction looks very complex. The TSB only allows 1.5 hours. I wonder if the dealer has to pay for the additional time ?

Not that I know anything about this stuff.

My steering column was replaced today. It took the dealership four (4) hours to do the swap. Like Limelight earlier stated, the service advisor said they have replaced several MDX steering columns under warranty, too.

I had this done a few months back - they had to order a new steering column & it took several hours.
Had no idea that there was a TSB on this issue; glad my ears detected something wrong. I was starting to wonder about my ability to pick up defects as so many people have been complaining about the suspension but thus far, everything seems fine with mine.
