Small nick on front windshield

Small nick on front windshield
I was cleaning my new Acura today and I happen to notice I has a small mark on my driver side front window. I first thought it was dirt but after trying to wipe it off and it not going away I felt it and you could feel the indent. Look like I might of got hit by a small pebble but I don't remember hearing the hit. Any suggestion on dealing with this very small nick? In Florida insurance company will replace a windsheid if it is crack and impairing the driver view. Mine is not, but I don't want it to spread over time. Shame, I have only had the car a little over 2 weeks and I really love the drive and bells and whistles.

I know Geico and most insurance companies want to stay away from replacing the windshield. For free they will suggest it be repaired using an injected epoxy. I have had this done several times. Depending on where it is you may never see it again. If it is large and right in your eye sight you may notice it but it will not spread. Good Luck!!

I had a fairly big nick with small spider cracks fixed with epoxy several weeks ago.
Will see if it holds before replacing windshield. Complicated replacement with rain sensors, LKAS,etc

I think you have to remember that these W/S's are extra thick to reduce wind and road noise and if you have a "SafeLight" Glass repair company in your area, these guys come to where you live or work and preform the service.
These windshields cost twice what previous models cost...

Well I went to a glass company today, referred to me by Gieco, and they said it a scratch in the glass that won't spread and can't be repaired. They suggested I do nothing since it a new car with a factory seal windshield. I call the Acura dealer service department and talked with them. They told me the same thing. Both also told me they would replace the window if I wanted but felt it wasn't really needed. It just a pin head size scratch not in my direct line of sight just to the left of it, your thoughts would be appreciated?
