Comparing the TLX and RLX headlights- each side of the TLX has 3 big low beam projectors and 3 beams of light, while the RLX has 8 smaller projectors using 4 beams of light. Are the RLX headlights far more effective than the TLX since there are more of them? What do you guys think

 

As I drive-in to the car wash location during weekdays, the guy that greets you and takes the coupon told me that they were the brighter daylights that he had ever seen. These guys get hundredths of cars a day including a couple of TLXs. I haven't compared them side by side.

 

When I compare the MDX lights to the RLX lights, the MDX lights are very bright but the upper visual cut off is much sharper than the RLX. Also the light pattern is much wider, taller, and deeper in the RLX. Both of my impressions are with the fog lights on for both cars. I think the RLX daytime lights look sinister during from a distance.
