RLX Tech or Advance

After owning my RLX Tech for about 4 months. I really like this car. The only complain I have is turning diameter is little bit long for getting out of parking spot.

I wish I had got an Advance package model instead of just Technology package. The LKAS and ACC are really cool to have. I also think the parking sensor is useful.

For people have RLX Advance, do you regret what you get? Would you rather to save 5K for just technology package?

I wonder why the PAWS doesn't help with this? I think Acura should have put a few more degrees of movement in the PAWS, more like the old Prelude had.

SeanLin,
I have only had my RLX Advanced for less than a month and have been quite happy with the systems. Especially the LKAS, ACC, BSI and PAWS. I have not had to parallel park so I can't comment on your problem.
What was your previous ride? maybe this is a getting adjusted to.

Good Luck, she is a great ride..

SeanLin,
I agree with Victober's comments. I was looking at a Tech Pkg first, but really wanted the audio upgrade AND my wife had to have the ventilated seats since we had them on our '10 RL. So, that left me with just one choice - the Advance. You have a great pkg so don't second guess your decision. Enjoy the car you have. On your next purchase you will learn from this experience.

victor, I had bmw 545i before RLX. Be honest, I dont feel too much different between RLX sport mode vs bmw 545i normal mode. For daily commute, I feel RLX is just perfect for me. I was just hoping I had got advance package so I can use ACC while there is stop and go traffic on the freeway.

As for "turning diameter", dont you guys feel it is a little bit long while getting out of packing sport?
I think P-AWS works well while driving in winding road but not helping for parking.

To be quite honest I have not had any issues with parking. All spots I have parked in since purchase has been angled or straight in and I did not notice any issue when compared to my '10 RL.

I have the RLX Advanced - The Lance Keep (Drives itself for about 10 seconds and then tells you to put your hands back on the steering wheel) & Assist (I think that's what keeps beeping at me because I want to get too close to the right). The Cruise Control is the best feature. Set it at 60 Mph and it will go all day at anything less just following the car ahead (at the distance you set) even if they stop for a red light or stop sign (This takes a lot of "Trust"). Want to go 1 Mph faster just nudge it up once - or nudge it up until it beeps and it will go up "5 Mph" (45 - 50 - 55 - 60) - The PAWS take a few minutes to get use to but the brain adjust real quick - Mike Landon

^^seanlin,
I have to completely agree with Miklandon, The "Getting use to" is the most adjusting I have ever had....Trust doesn't come easily, especially when you see the red-lights in front and your ready to jam on the brakes, then...It takes over for you...Whew!

My previous ride was the 09TL Tech, and the RLX seems l o n g e r when in a turning maneuver. The P-AWS does activate but I'm not sure if you can see it a stop?
