Not sure how how long it's been but I've been checking under "Future Vehicles" and haven't seen it till today when I seen it had it's own little square in the bottom right hand corner on the home page.

interesting - that's more info on how the SH-SHAWD than they ever put out on the SHAWD
not sure about the color coding though - they use green to show braking and orange for acceleration

I wonder if there will be a snow mode?
It says the rear electric motors operate first under acceleration. Either there will be a snow mode or the system will be so smart to immediately detect slippage and kick up the engine/ front electric motor to help get the car to move.

Yeah, funny huh? In their minds Green is for Regeneration. What I'm wondering about is when you're regenerating with the inside rear wheel while cornering, is the energy being captured being sent to the battery first or directly to the outboard motor?

I would think battery - otherwise what if it is regenerating more than what outboard motor needs.

Yeah, but from my experience with the CR-Z, you don't get 1:1 regeneration to power usage. It seems like regeneration is only 50% efficient compared to usage. I was thinking that it was because of the conversion of electrical energy to chemical storage and back to electrical energy. I wonder if there are efficiencies to be gained by skipping the batteries. I guess if there were surplus it could be shunted to the batteries.
