The RLX Experience
So I got a contest card in the style magazine that Acura subscribes you to when you buy a car. Its called The RLX Experience contest. In order to see if you have a winning code, you have to go to the dealer to look at the display and see if it matches. The dealer is a pain for me to get to, so I wanted to see if anyone on here happened to have the codes from the dealer? I believe there are three codes in total.

Summer is Coming
I got the card too but yeah, it is really to get you in the door.

I agree with everyone else. I always get letters in the mail about how much X dealership needs more used cars and really want mine since it's high in demand, blah blah. We actually went once. It was an MB dealer and yeah, basically just trying to get you in the door.

I was in for TSX service and brought the card with me. Won nothing, but they gave me a card to sign up for the RLX extended test drive online. That sounded moderately interesting, so I checked out the web site...
Then I discovered that it's an overnight test drive with free dinner for two. That's a lot more interesting as long as it's not some chain food...
So I set up the test drive, figuring I would cancel on the phone depending on the restaurant and the $$ given. On the phone, they said $100 at Eddie V's. Whoa, now we're talking. That's only enough for food at that joint, but it's good. Ok, so I'm in.
Picked the car up on Saturday and returned it today (dealership closed on Sunday). My only dealer commitment was a 20 minute walkaround. Drove off with $100 gift card and a reservation to Eddie V's.
When we showed up, the Valet parked the car right in front, so all the other customers had to drive and/or walk by it. Food was incredible. My wife and I burned through the $100, and they offered up free desert. Great night.
The car is pretty nice. Handling is really quite impressive around high speed curves. 4-wheel steering is obvious, feels a little weird to my ass, but I got used to it. Totally confidence inspiring -- probably the most grip I've ever felt in a FWD car.
Acceleration is strong, but annoying that the tires spin so easily. Just obnoxious for a car in this class. Spin is controlled, so acceleration doesn't suffer much. 2nd to 3rd full-throttle shift is strange, as it feels almost like a downshift and is not even close to smooth -- but again, acceleration is strong. There is no torque steer at all (unless it was so slight and I'm just used to more in my TSX).
Interior comfort is fine. Controls are straightforward -- don't understand why anyone would be confused. Bluetooth setup was finicky, but worked fine once my Nexus 4 was paired. Kids had tons of room in back (they said it felt like the MDX).
I think it rides rough. Feels more like my old '42 Willy's than a luxury car on rough roads. Very quiet though -- engine and road noise are really slight. I like the full-throttle rumble in our MDX, but no such joy in the RLX.
Steering weighting is a little light for my taste (TSX is my primary driver). I got it into a drift once, and alarms were going off, and traction control jerked my choke collar tight. Speaking of which, the LDW went freaked near sunset when I was driving into the sun. I believe it was tar repair patching confusing it into thinking I was leaving my lane. The forward collision warning is pretty spot on, as when it went off, I was either just about to get on brakes, or was changing lanes for that reason.
Keyless ignition is nice, and further annoyed me that our '12 MDX doesn't have it. Keyless entry was very natural.
Parking is a little disconcerting because the car feels wider than a Crown Vic from the inside. You can't see over the fender bulges on top, so you have to trust that your mirrors are actually protruding. Drive 12" from a wall on the passenger side, and you feel like you're 6" into the wall. That was annoying.
Did I miss anything?
