Reactive Force Pedal - Settings?

Just curious if anyone has changed the default setting of this, and what the general consensus is on the best setting? I presume this is only in the event of tire slippage, or when does it actually engage? The manual doesn't explain much.

Thanks!

I have mine set to high I believe. It has been a while since I set it. I experimented with the different settings a while back.

Out of curiosity, what does it do? I always read about these kind of weird features but can't find out what they do through a google search. Like for example the 2G RL had "flush mounted windows" which I can't seem to find out what that means. I only assume from the name that it is windows flush with the pillars ve indented.

The reactive force pedal is simply electronically applied resistance to the pedal as a means to coax the driver from accelerating abruptly, especially when not in SPORT mode. The Sport Hybrid can be driven fully electric at slow speeds, however increasing acceleration will engage the ICE V6. It enables you to better finesse the pedal.

"Reactive Force Pedal Assists during driving by responding to the force of your foot on the accelerator pedal. When you press the accelerator pedal, the system can provide slight resistance to prevent you from applying excessive throttle to the accelerator. Usually, the feedback is unnoticeable while driving. As a result, this can yield better fuel efficiency and provide traction control while driving on slippery roads. The system also can provide slight resistance through the accelerator during operation of the Collision Mitigation Braking System™. Reactive force pedal is off in Sport mode. Changing Settings Adjust the pedal force level. Use the interface dial to make and enter selections. 1. Press SETTINGS. 2. Select Vehicle Settings. 3. Select Reactive Force Pedal. 4. Select one of the options. High Force: More pedal feedback. Low Force: Less pedal feedback and natural acceleration feeling. 5. Press BACK to exit the menu."

The flush side glass on the RL is a point of refinement for the car aerodynamically and aesthetically. The front and rear side glass is mounted that the glass to B pillar to rear glass is a smooth surface, no indentations of the glass into the frame. It also reduces wind noise. If you look at the b pillar in this pic, you can see the glass is flush with the B pillar. If not for the seams, it would appear as one continuous glass window front to rear.

Sorry for taking so long to reply. I just want to say thank you so much for the response and taking the time in explaining what flush mounted windows are as well. I tried searching and had zero luck.
