How much to pay for a certified 14 Sport Hybrid?

So I've not been happy with my TL lately and have been looking around for a new car. I found a '14 Sport Hybrid w 500, yes , 500 miles on it not too far from me. It's a tech package and they are asking 51,900 for it. I say that's way too much considering i was offered a new one for 47k without even negotiating. That was before I was serious, now I am. So what would you pay for this car?

Under $50k. At the end of the model year, some were getting SH Techs for low $50's. I'd offer $45k and go from there.

Sooooo glad I leased this time round.

KBB says 42,500. CarGurus state the market value around 45,300. They should let it go for just above market value.

49% residual on my deal, but I did a zero down lease at a few hundred short of MSRP. I was a very early lessee, so I didn't get a rock bottom lease payment.

The reason I say I'm happy I leased is that I don't have to worry about the dismal depreciation when I'm turning the car in at the end of the lease.

I'm kinda hoping that we get a new RLX Sport Hybrid design by the time my lease is up in two years, or that we get a Sport Hybrid MDX in that timeframe. Or I could just go get a Jeep TrackHawk instead. Who knows.....
