How do I reset the nav system?

I have a strange problem.

I shut the car off, but the nav system is still on. Both screens are still lit.

The ignition is off, and the doors lock. But, I can't open the trunk without using the manual release.

The XM radio is inoperative, and the Bluetooth interface is stuck on "initializing". AcuraLink is unavailable.

A clarification: the actual navigation system works fine. It is everything else (radio, Bluetooth, eve the climate control) that is wonky.

I think I read a post in which someone described how to reset the system. Is there a button sequence to do it?

I am hoping the battery isn't dead in the morning.

An update: this morning, everything is fine. At some point, it shut off. And, when I started the car, the climate control and XM radio are working. I didn't check anything else.

I'd still like to know how to reset it. Does anyone know how?

I don't know how to do it, but a few weeks ago my 14MDX kept the rear view camera on even after I put it in drive. After I turned off the car it reset by itself and the problem went away. The same thing happened with my old TL-SHAWD too a few times. In general a reboot fixes most things like this. Computers.......

I believe pulling the battery terminals momentarily is the only way to completely "reset" all electronics on the car.

Congratulations! You found the free computer feature built into every car at no cost: computer gremlins!

IF car is running then try : NAV-BACK-MENU

IF car is off: pull battery cable.

OR go for a walk, have a drink, and wait till the gremlins decide to go attack someone else.
