When you finally get it, make every attempt to not find triple digits because it will be agonizingly easy to achieve on the highway. All you will have to do is relax your right foot on the gas. The car is amazingly smooth and very stable.
UPDATE! District Mgr mislead my dealer, car will arrive in port (west coast) on the 19th. I am not a very happy customer at this point. Time for Acura to make some amends.
No dealer should promise a delivery date to anyone until the car in on their lot and the PDI is complete. Shame on them for getting your hopes up. I certainly agree that some compensation, even a few free accessories are in order.

Tell them to throw in all weather mats, cargo mats and illuminated door sills for your troubles!
Wrong information....car is on west coast; Acura failed to put it on a train for delivery. Will ship priority by transport. Not an all-weather mat fan; don't need them. Will get door sills, trunk tray, locks. Should be here by the 18th. Will be out of town 21 - 25th so no need to rush the PDI.
I did not let my dealer touch my paint other than to take off the crap the manufacturer puts on it for transport. If I were in your town I would volunteer to "prep" the paint for you the way I do it.

Curious why you don't need the all-weather mats. Do you like the carpet mats over the all-weather mats? Notwithstanding the winter season, I get the all-weather mats because they are rubber & can be cleaned easily. Plus the high-wall ones can contain liquid spills better. Carpet mats might get stains that can't be cleaned/removed.

It is the exact reasons why I love all weather mats. Esthetically not the best but functionally they are awesome.

For a luxury car they don't fit the look - my opinion. I do not live in a climate that requires all-weather mats plus I am a very clean person when it comes to the interior of my cars. If it is raining I keep a set of color-coordinated towels in the trunk to use to keep the carpeted mats clean. No spills in my car to worry about.

I am actually paying a detailer to go to the dealership to prep the paint (clay bar) and add a ceramic paint sealer. He has done cars for me in the past and I trust him and his work. The dealer will remove the plastic wrap, do their clay bar process to remove the adhesive. This dealers detail shop is actually very good, not a min wage technician that does not give a hoot.

That is good news. You get one chance to get this right and once swirls are in the clear coat, they can be removed, but you have to take off one or two microns of the clear coat to do it. There is just that much less protection down the road. I'm glad to hear what your plans are. Do you know what your new estimated delivery date is? I'm looking forward to you enjoying your new ride! I converted a naysayer last night with a test drive. It took about 2 minutes.
Finally picked her up on 10/20 then left on vacation 10/21. She now has 139 glorious miles.
Congratulations!!!!!!
We traveled in the heavy rain yesterday through New Jersey and it performed flawlessly. However that was not the case for a Honda Accord that hydroplaned into a concrete barrier right next to us. The driver quite literally lost it driving parallel to us , fishtailed, did a 180 in the lane then smashed into the barrier, spewing car parts behind us into traffic. We just kept motoring on as I watched the power delivery gauge on the HUD sprinkle the power to the various wheels adapting to the road surfaces with perfect traction. Enjoy it my friend! Can't wait to hear your feedback.
RLX-Sport Hybrid,
I have on setting I do not know what it is for and it is not in the manual - Auto Reverse Tone/On. It is under the settings that have the Trip A and Trip B reset setting. Any thoughts?

Not RLX-Sport Hybrid, but.....
This is the only mention I found, but its in the 2018 RLX Owners Manual (no further explanation)......
Maybe it makes a noise when you back up like the trucks do, for safety........

If you are referring to the MID screen in the center of the dash behind the steering wheel, you have a scroll control on the left hand side of the wheel that you can adjust things to your preferences. The one on the right does other things. Try rolling it either way (up or down) and you will see it move you to another place in the MID screen.
I realized this evening I was incorrect. The left hand scroll handles the audio and the right hand scroll lets you make adjustments. Sorry for the confusion. I just found out that my buddy just picked up a 2017 MDX Sport Hybrid Advance too after he got a test drive in mine! Now I need to teach him how to set it up and enjoy it! I should get a commission.

My 2014 SH-AWD makes a tone when put into reverse, but there is no setting to turn it off.
The most annoying low tones to me are the ones you get when you lose LKAS or ACC.
To me, these should be louder and much more annoying.
I turned off the LKAS and ACC tones, because it was driving my wife nuts. "What's that sound? Is something broken? There it is again? You sure everything is fine?"

I have the optional, dealer installed Ejection Seats.
