Class Action
I was wondering if anyone believes there may be a valid point for a class action suit against Acura based on the rapidly declining values of a 2014 car.
Understanding that there is always value lost when you drive off the lot, it appears that the poor reception of this vehicle and the numerous complaints it is receiving is decimating the aftermarket.
As per other posts even Acura dealers and thereby Acura corporate understands that this car needs incentives above and beyond and are selling the vehicles at deep discounts (12K off) to move cars out the door and get them off the lot.

I don't believe it is Acura's or any manufacturer's duty to protect the early adopters.
Based on past history, informed consumers should know that prices for ANY new product are highest at the launch and, once the initial demand for the new product wains, the price traditionally falls. This is true for most consumer goods. I seem to recall a few members of this board mentioning that they are going to "wait for the discounts" before making their purchase of a new RLX.
The bottom line is that if you want to be the first on the block to have the latest toy, whatever it is, you're going to have to pay for the privilege. If you are a victim of anything it is your own lack of research and consumer savy or patience.

I also dont think you have any grounds on a lawsuit
<----not a lawyer but your claims seem frivolous...
it sounds like you just have a bad case of buyers remorse, which you should have researched a little better and or not rush out to buy the latest shiny toy.

NotEnthused, maybe it's time to sell your car right now and cut your loss, before it depreciates any further while Acura dealerships keep hiking the discounts in order to move the slow-selling flag-ship sedan.

Oh come on, are you kidding me?
Those early adopters who paid $15K for the early HD TVs better get moving on those lawsuits.

How are the Toyota owners doing with their class action lawsuit after all the crashes resulted in declining resale values? Anyone buying an RLX expecting it to hold value when the old RL was being discounted $9K+ as well did not do any research. Unless the dealer promised you a specific residual on a purchase and did that in writing then you don't have a claim.

Dude just sell the damn car already, you sure don't seem to like it! Sometimes life isn't fair, deal with it and move on! Save us all the drama
I drove the RLX with 4cruizn last week and it is one hell of a car.

Anyone who buys a brand new RLX and wants to sell it in 3-4 years will lose their shirts. The only sensible thing is to buy and keep for the long-haul (>8 years).
