I ordered the 2018 update. Won't have it until Monday.

I noticed, however, that it's going to be two disks this time, with one of them labelled "Software Update."

Does anybody have information about what this changes, and has this ever happened before?

I did not get the 2017 update. First time I've skipped a year.

Let us know if you notice any improvements with the software update. It may influence whether or not I go with the new update.

 

The 2017 update had two disks also.

I ordered the 2018 update DVD yesterday.

It should be here Monday or Tuesday, so I will let you know......that is if I beat you to it.

Of course the update DVD for the 2014-2015 SH, is different then the 2016-2017 SH.....maybe thats why it had 2 DVDs last year also.

 

I have noticed many map updates that are relevant to me, and that's good.

However, I have not noticed anything yet with the new software.

I don't know if the software update was to affect the whole infotainment system or just the NAV part of it, but everything annoying about iPhone connectivity has continued.

Contacts populate only once, when you pair the device. After that, they won't work.

The iPod connection only works once, when you pair it. After that, it won't work except for trickle charging.

I'm going to have to drive around tonight for a couple of hours. I'll see if I notice anything else and will report back.

 

How do I tell which version of the software I have? I found something in the menus, but it didnt elude to being 2024 or 2015 or what...
