Tire Pressure- 20" wheels

What tire pressure is everyone running on the 20" wheels? I have a 2022 Aspec/Advance and I just noticed on the doorjamb the suggested psi is 36 which seems high. The dealer set mine to 33.

36 as the door jamb says. 36 isn't uncommon a tire pressure any longer with lower profile tires - I've mostly run that on all my recent cars.

36 psi is correct for 20” wheels. 33psi is for 19” wheels.

Better to go with the 36psi cause if you live in a place with cold winters as I do, the tire pressure goes down and the TPMS freaks out at 32-31psi

I put them at 35. The info screen said 32.

The TPMS doesn’t seem very accurate.

Mines are very accurate, within 1psi from expensive gauge I have. Do you have a good quality measurement gauge? The ones that come with air compressors are not very good.

I keep mine at 36 psi as indicated on the door placard. Seems to provide a good ride and MPG.

Have mine at 36 psi as indicated at the door jam. Using a bmw digital tire pressure gauge. Accurate within 0.5 psi.

How does one check the accuracy of ANY tire pressure gauge? Where would a consumer find access to gauges that have been calibrated?? Who calibrates them? How much does it really matter if your gauge of off by +/- 1 PSI?

Random questions, I know....LOL

I doubt there's any way to easily check - I just compare it against what the tire sensors are saying. I have 2 sets of sensors - one OEM (summer) and one aftermarket (winter) and have both a digital and old school gauge. I find my OEM sensors and digital gauge provide the same readings while the aftermarket ones are off slightly (less than 1 psi).
