Enkei TY-5

Thinking of getting a set to replace the base RDX rim. Would I be able to reuse the tire pressure sensor from the stock rims?

Also they have two different sizes. 19x8 +40 offset or 19x8.5 +35 offset. The latter might be stick out too much. I believe stock is 19x8 +50 offset.

Opinion?

Great looking wheels IMO. And you're dropping a good amount of weight at only 20.5lbs a piece. I'm guessing the RDX wheels are 27lbs at least. Rotating mass can make a significant difference in handling and acceleration.

Most tire places can easily transfer TPMS sensors. Sometimes they hit you up for a rebuild kit on them if they're older. But since yours are still relatively new, that shouldn't be required. Even if it is, most places I've gone to only charge around $10 a piece to replace the o-rings and stuff like that.

For the 19" rims for the RDX its 22.6lbs. The link was for another car. I believe the stock is almost 30lbs. To be on the safer side, 19x8 with a +40 offset is better.

I have a set of aftermarket rims, 20x8.5 +35 with 255/45r20 tires and they sit flush with the fender, no rubbing either.

Hey I replied to your PM jist now. I checked and my offset is +38 for the 20x8.5" with 255 45 20 tires. They are pretty much flush.

I decided to powder coat the stock 19" rims. I didn't have room to store a second set in the current living place. Was seriously considering the TY-5. I will need to paint the caps myself as the shop didn't offer that. It costs me $450 total and took a day turnaround in the Orange County area.
