2022 Advance stock 19” wheels with Nokian Hakka R-5 SUV on my 2022 PMC

These wheels were a PITA to find, I have been looking since last December. I finally found remans from two different OEM wheel vendors, three were $300 each, one was $350. I just installed them and I was shocked at the ride difference on dry pavement. Squooshy mooshy. But certainly way more comfortable on rough roads, so much so that I found that Normal now feels like Comfort does on the stock 20” wheels. I actually like that a lot, I find the ride too jarring with the 20”s. But the sharp handling has disappeared completely. I guess when the roads are covered with sheet ice I won’t care about that…..

One new sensor failed to register, so 1 guess I need to go to the dealer to let them figure that out, it may just be a dud. (I got the tires from Discount Tire.)

Should these tires run at 36 psi like the 20s? That is what I set them at.

BTW these are the latest generation tires, size 235/55R19,: they supersede the R3 SUV version. …. Everyone's raving about these winter tires, so we tested them ourselves Our Northern Correspondent tries out the well-regarded Nokian Hakkapeliitta R3 for the first time

I REALLY like the wheels, I like that I can now see the brake calipers and rotors, and washing five spokes will be so much quicker and easier than twenty.

Love the setup and the color is to die for.
Acura recommends 33 psi for 19” tires.

Thanks for the kind words. These blue PMCs actually look way better in person than in pics. I will drop the pressure to 33, that should get rid of some of the vagueness in the steering. But the rubber compound is very very soft.
