Would you have this fixed?
I picked up my 2020 RDX Tech Package (Gunmetal) this past Saturday, and I DO NOT have any problems with the composite tailgate spoiler catching or making noise when opening in cold weather as reported in another thread. It's been down to 22 Fahrenheit here, and it doesn't pop or catch.
However, I DO have a rough edge at the center area of the upper lip of the spoiler (see attached pics). There does not seem to be any paint missing along the rough edge. From reading another thread, I understand that some RDXs have this rough edge from the factory because they do not clean up the edge after it comes out of the mold. On the top of the spoiler, there is a slight, barely visible ripple (about 1/2 an inch wide) on the surface of the spoiler just behind the rough edge. This ripple didn'’t come out in the photos.
I'm thinking that as long at the tailgate opens smoothly and no paint is missing along the edge, it would be best to leave well enough alone and not take it to the dealer to "fix" the rough edge (grind down and repaint edge, I'm assuming). I'd hate to take it in and have them make it somehow worse or create an airflow problem that would create noise.
What would you do?
Thanks in advance for the replies.

My vote is no, live with those minor imperfections. No one other than you will notice them, and you will soon forget about them because of wear and tear elsewhere. RDX is all about value, not craftsmanship.
