Hey guys I recently started getting a weird sound on my 2021 RDX A-Spec SH AWD when starting it in the cold. Almost close to a whistle or vacuum, and it goes away as the engine heats up it seems.

Any help would be appreciated as the nearest dealer is quite a distance.

Sounds fine to me. It's probably simply because the RPMs are higher on a cold start.

 

I thought that as well until I checked 3 different people's RDX all cold start. Nothing like that sound.

I guess I'll have to make the trip down to the Acura dealership. Thanks!

 

I have noticed that same thing - please let me know what they say - I was gonna bring it up too but at my oil change which isn’t due yet.
