is there any way to automatically fold the mirrors on US TECH version?

 

No.

 

Replace your mirrors with those from the Canadian version. Someone in the RDX Facebook group did this and I believe it worked out for him. The wiring is already there, which pisses me off because I wish Acura would offer features like this to US customers.

 

I think in that thread the list of parts to get for the folding mirrors was like $1,500 (just the parts!). Little steep for folding mirrors to me...

Really stinks that a vehicle of this magnitude and pricepoint with the Tech package doesn't have folding mirrors.

 

I will be working on a project to convert my RDX 2020 manual folding mirror to power folding one. I ordered the parts, and I will upload everything once the project is complete. The budget for this project is 220$ , and I have a strong confidence it will work.

YAY. Project is completed, and I added folding Mirror to my RDX 2020 Tech Pack. Total cost went to 250$ and two days of work. 1st day like 4 hours, and it was for removing doors panel, mirrors, master switch, manual fold set, depinning of plugs, installing the Turn set. The second day, I worked for 3 hours for wiring, testing, and putting everything back. It looks amazing.
