Twice I've come across an exceedingly annoying bug. I'll hang up from a call (probably using CarPlay, but I think not always), but the car will still think the call is active. In the heads up menu, I'll see the call, but if I choose "end call", nothing happens. While this is going on, I cannot operate any audio apps from the car properly. The channel changing buttons don't work. The skip buttons don't work. Basically a ton of functionality is blocked out. It only stops when I turn off the car. Has anyone else come across this? I think it might occur when I hang up by pressing end on the phone vs using car controls, but I'm not sure.

I should add that I did install the most recent ill-fated update, and everything has been bugger since then. In particular, CarPlay crashes frequently. But this is the most annoying bug, because it can't be resolved without turning off the car.

 

There was something discussed awhile back, may be kind of related...try pushing the power button (off, then back on) on the left side of the steering wheel if it happens again, and see if this "disconnects" the ghosting call.

This happens to me quite often. The only way I’ve been able to clear the error is to unplug my phone and plug it back in. It lets me cancel the phone call active screen upon reconnecting.
