Maintenance Reminder at 15%

Is there anyway to change the Maintenance Reminder from notifications at 15% to maybe 10 or 5? Very annoying to keep getting notified each time you start the car.

Why don't you just change your oil and then reset it? Or don't change your oil and reset it anyway.

You can not change it, it’s designed that way on purpose

Seems like a fairly minor thing to complain about. Just do whatever maintenance it says to do.

Lol. How dare a car keep you engaged with its health and maintenance 😤.

I do t want to change with 15% to go. That’s over 1,000 miles if I understand correctly. And I agree, it’s annoying on every startup for 1,000 miles. To each his own. I hadn’t thought about it but I could reset it and then make sure it is reset on the subsequent oil change. Annoyance solved.

I consider at 30% the oil must be changed to let it go to zero is too late. As my 2019 ages I am considering 50% as others suggested on this thread. Oil is cheaper than the engine, of course if you are a short term owner should you care?

From Honda,
As the display number diminishes to 0%, you will begin accumulating negative miles, telling you your vehicle is overdue for servicing. Once negative miles begin to accumulate you’re putting your Honda at risk of being damaged.
