Clunky noise when coming to full stop

Can someone identify this clunky noise on my 22 rdx when coming to a full stop? It's driving me crazy and the dealership says that Acura brake are known to be clunky or something. There are 2 short mp4 clips showing you at what stage the clunk happens. (box shared link)

Realized there are two threads about this - I had the same problem and after 4 days of arguing with the dealer they replaced the front pads. This has fixed the issue (for now). Its funny that when i demo'ed the problem to the tech and service manager they both said "that is strange and not right" - only for that same service manager to call me back and tell me "its normal".

The service from the dealers (at least in Toronto) is horrid.

Lol I went through Erin Mills Acura in Mississauga, Sherway Acura where they told me that it was fine and to "enjoy" my RDX. And finally after complaining to Acura corporate, they referred me to Acura in Heartland Mississauga - where some "grease" fixed a brake pad travel issue. They probably bent the clips to hold the pads in place

They managed to fix mine and wrote the following comments:
"Brake pads walking, lubricated pads and mounting surfaces, noise no longer present"

I drove it for 3500km before an iron remover was applied on the rims. It appaers that the iron remover stripped the grease off the pads.

I wonder what exactly was greased. I had previously paid a mechanic and he greased the clips and cleaned the pads.

Just wanted to see if anyone has an update to this issue.
Thanks to the OP for the videos - this is the EXACT same issue we have with our 2020 A-Spec.

Ours has been ongoing for about 3 years, with multiple trips to our dealer here in Calgary. Each time they try to tighten something, and sometimes the sound is gone for a little while.....but eventually comes back. Our sounds emanate from the front left.

I don't think this is related to the sunroof, that is a separate problem that has a TSB for it.

Cheers,
Uncle Eddy

I have managed to fixed the issue on my cost.

The problem is with the brake pad. There is some brake pad travel and when you have a heavy vehicle like this moving a piece of metal in the brake caliper bracket, it will resonate in the frame of the car.

Here's the fix which worked for me:

Brakepads replaced with Bosche ceramic quietcast pads. The clips which come with this brake pad set has additional spring ears preventing the brakepad travel which by itself is manufactured to fit the calipers better. No brake pad travel and if any, it's absorbed by the additional spring ears.

Ive also replaced the rotors, which i highly suggest to do when replacing brake pads with Bremsen ceramic rotors. Make sure you follow standard procedures to "break in" new ceramic brake pads.

All parts came to $150usd.

If you have the tools you can do thus yourself. Its a cheap fix but acura cannot do anything except to replace it with their own crappy brake pads

Clunking noise on stoping the car.

I have the exact same issue as Zedoz89 described. I contacted the dealership, and they are blaming my driving. I am driving 20 Miles/hour and stopping the car in 20/25 feet by applying the brakes gently, but the noise still exists. Please advise.
