2020 RDX ventilated seat static noise

Looks like I found my first issue with my new 2020. The passenger side seat makes a hissing/static noise when I turn the ventilated seats on. It's quite noticeable and annoying.

The drivers side works perfectly fine with no weird noise. Anyone else with my problem?

On mine, at the highest setting, I hear the fan noise easily. At second setting, not as noticeable, but not as effective (cooling) as the highest setting.
If the noise you are hearing is not the fan noise, then no I don't have this issue.

This is my first car with ventilated seats. What am I suppose to be feeling? I barely feel any air coming out of it. Does it use a separate fan or does it come from the cars a/c unit.

Passenger seat makes a hissy static noise. Its sound like an electrical short circuit noise. Drivers side sounds fine.

Do you notice this only when the passenger seat is unoccupied? I don't hear it at all if my wife is in the passenger seat, but do hear the hissing if the seat is empty. I just turn off the passenger seat fan in that case.

It doesn’t blow air out, it sucks air in, it will cause a cooling affect on your body, you will notice it most when you are wearing thinner clothing, shorts and Tshirts, it’s one of those things that once your used to, and you got sit in someone’s car that doesn’t have it you feel like something is missing, you feel hotter, but in your own car you barely notice it once your used to it, I leave mine on pretty much all the time except winter, and If it’s off you notice your butt isn’t as cool

Bingo. The noise goes away when someone sits on it. Problem solved.
