I applied Meguiars 888 Ceramic Coating to my 2024 Aspec Advance. The black paint looks dripping wet, and Meguiars states that the gloss will increase as it cures over the next 7 days. I mostly do rineseless washes, but I am curious to see how it holds up with my 2x monthly touchless car washes. It faired really well in the torture tests I've seen on YouTube, so I am optimistic that it will hold up well. If I could get 2-3 years from the coating, I would be more than happy with the $80 I spent on it.
Which coating did you all opt for? This was my first time applying a ceramic coating, so I wanted a stupid easy application process, which this truly was!
Here is a picture of the RDX after paint correction and the Megs ceramic coating application.
Looks great, nice work. I also use Meguiars Ceramic after 40 year of using their traditional wax products. 2 years in on our MDX-S and it's holding up great. I re-apply annually. See you out there.
