That is one beautiful ride Acura604. WOW. Loved the pillars - it completes the look. You're right it does have the Rover feel; the black gives the roof an illusion of being "flatter" and looks like a $70K automobile. Awesome.

I like your style. Both the rdx and the house are premium. Love the black roof.

Hey can you share what brand and color of wrap that is? I shamelessly going to admit I want to black out my hood also, your RDX looks amazing.

I would love to get mine wrapped also. I went to a shop to get a quote and he practically talked me out of it based on longevity and quality. Curious as to your opinion? I was told due to sitting in the sun during the day at work, it would only last 2 years before I would have to rewrap it. I was also told that the black would produce sun spots fairly quickly. Just wondering thoughts on longevity of a wrap. Thanks!

Just saw this (late to the game). That looks so good on white; especially with the A-Spec trim. We have the Apex Blue, which I'm not sure about the black, but in seeing your results, I may have to photoshop ours to see how it looks.
more than a year later....the wrap is holding up just fine - even through a decent heat wave. no issues to report at all.

That looks really good. I wonder how the black top would hold up in Arizona, or how much heat it would absorb.

Acura604...that looks really sharp. Padre Dave...as a fellow 'blazing in hell' southwest citizen....you know nothing holds up to the heat down here!!! My 2008 BMW 5, which is black, we gave to our daughter 3 years ago. It went from perfect condition, to horrific condition because she parks outside. Really sad to see how fast the paint went bad. Because of this brutal sun, we try to only by white vehicles now. I could be wrong (and this is just my opinion) but I think it holds up best to the sun and subsequent temps. But again, that 'wrap' that Acura604 did looks nice. I know some other SUV's lately have come form the factory with the top painted black, which is a nice look.

Hello I was wondering where did you get the red SH symbol it looks really sharp. Love the way your aspec looks and gives Range Rover vibes.

What is interesting about cars outside in Arizona is that often it is only the clear-coat is flaking off. A friend with a nice BMW took his car to a body shop and they sanded the clear coat off and polished and then added a couple of layers of clear coat and it looked magnificent!Originally Posted by EFR

I love this look and I have this exact car. I am looking to recreate this look but I’m curious as to which exact wrap was used? The photos I’ve received during my quote don’t quite capture my interest like yours @Acura604

If I could make one suggestion, cuz thats what I do...add the running bars. What you done/added is excellent, and they would finish the look.

dipped it with red plastidip/glossifier - tape off the areas not to be dipped. Originally Posted by Shivang Patel
