🏁 Post your slips 🏁
wondering what other cars you were facing, because they were all very close races!!!
and yeah, I think if you took out some of the stuff in the interior, lighten the load. (just for track days) you would be a little quicker!

my 2nd run was against 2018 Mustang 5.0 modification i don't know.
The video for the Mustang run is on my IG @Frecks82

LOL The Mustang 5.0 owner probably was thinking the same thing! " WHAT THE HELL! HOW IS THIS SUV KEEPING UP WITH ME"

The slower time is fairly close to mine. Hideous 60' but very good trap speed. Huge improvement on the 60' with the tune. I am wondering if they mitigate the torque management (huge delay at the dig), or just pile in more torque after the delay is over.
I turned on 2nd stage, traction control off then i brake boosted her unit i saw the lights and just sent it!
for a sports oriented suv, i dont think it's a great trap speed...but it is consistent!
but with future mods(down pipes and intercooler upgrades, revised tunes, possibly civic type-r turbo) it'll be a beast!
it's a great starting point and documentation on what this SUV can and will do.

I need mor RPM and a pro tune!
Aren't 1/4 mile trap speeds supposed to be very consistent, especially with automatics? The trap speed isn't really affected by how well the launch goes, and the R/T doesn't affect trap speeds at all. The only driver component that could impact it is a bad gear shift, but that doesn't apply to automatics.
Trap speed is about high rpm power. It makes sense that the tune doesn't help this because those tunes tend to jack up low end and midrange torque mostly. Top end hp not so much.
Tell me more about brake boosting when the tune was on. Mine (stock) will not allow a boosted launch. Hold the brake and press the gas to the floor, not an inch ounce of extra torque gets built up. Same soggy launch with huge delay.

Next time I will do some logs!
Nice runs. Not fast by any stretch of the imagination, but not bad for a grocery-getter. That Mustang needs a driver mod bad. This is what makes me laugh about people harping about wanting manuals. I'm just assuming, but with an ET and trap speed that low, I can't see driver error being that woeful with an automatic. Manual? Absolutely. That car runs deep into the 12's ... it can break into the 11's if you dial everything in right. The S197 (last gen) Mustang GTs were running low-mid 13's.

What are you talking about? The black trim on the A-Spec gives at least +5HP.
Seriously tho, it may not do anything for performance, but I don't think I would have purchased the 3G RDX if it wasn't for the A-Spec package. Just looks way better IMO.

🤣🤣🤣👌 I love the A-spec trim.
That's not too shabby. That's quicker than the X3 and Q5, and just a couple ticks behind the GLC. Did you do any runs on the stock tune? Curious what that time would be; C&D reports 15.2 and MT reports 14.8.
GLC 43 AMG?
Because i walk the normal GLC!
And since I don't like to make claims without citations, here are the two numbers:

So I have to ask...are you sure they knew you were racing? I mean, I beat quite a few BMWs in my parent's Corolla back in my high school days...

I'm just telling you in real life what happened. The GLC AMG 43 beat me pretty good 👍
I will race him without the tune and see what happens!
I will update you...

What year is his GLC? Those numbers are for the refreshed 2020 models; I believe the previous years were a full second slower in the quarter mile.
Hmmm.... I'm wondering why your trap is kind of low. Does it drop power past a certain speed?
My 2007 RDX is quick, but gets dog ass slow past 90 mph whereas my Accord V6 will happily pull to 110+....
Maybe your weak spot is a higher drag coefficient, which is understandable.
Either way, I'm sure your RDX is balls to the wall fast around town!
Can you make a speedometer video on your next pull?
