Hi All - I currently have the KTuner stage 2 flashed. If I get Phearable Stage 3, how does it work with Ktuner? Do I need to reflash Phearable Stage 3 everytime there is a new Ktuner version?

Just buy the stage 3 tune and flash just like you did the stage 2. Should be no need to reflash unless you make modifications to the car and get the tune updated.

Next step is to drive around and let the car learn a bit. Then go to a red light, put it in sport plus, put it in S mode, manually drop to 1st gear.... Hold brake, press gas, release brake, hammer the throttle and.... SMILE!

stage 3 comparing to stage 2 for me provide more smooth drive. Stage 2 is aggressive a bit . IMHO.

 

Is there a way for the car to run different tunes based on drive mode? For example, keep the stock tune in comfort or sport modes but only use the "hot" tune in Sport +?

 

Short answer, No. The tune works across all drive modes.

 

No, but the Phearable stage 3 tune maintains the drive mode profiles. So in comfort or snow mode the turbo is never really going to fully spool, in sport you get more power but its drives very much the same unless you step on it. Sport + is the full potential. So adjusting the drive mode doesnt alter the tune, but the tune lets each drive mode work the way it should.
