Debating between MAPerformance's DP and PRL's DP. One factor is availability ... it seems PRL's are all out of stock while MAP has them in stock. Another big factor is the PRL unit retains mounting points for the factory heat shields, MAP does not. MAP offers ceramic coating, which I would go for if going with the unit, but is it professionally done, or is it just some guy in their warehouse taking a rattle can of VHT to it? Price really isn't a factor ... but I don't want to pay for the PRL unit only for it to suddenly be continually delayed on "backorder".

 

I have the prl catted version and it fit like a glove
top notch workmanship- don’t know anyone with the MAPerformance version-
im trying to find another downpipe without a cat

I went with the MAP only because I don't want to deal with the backorder. Who knows where you'd land on the list, and although it seems PRL is a very reputable company, I'd rather not deal with some of the headaches I've seen when good vendors go bad.

I got it coated, so hopefully there isn't any extra heat put out compared to stock. I'll update with fitment and quality when it arrives.

 

I got the High Velocity unit. Fit perfectly. Gotta change the OEM mufflers now. Shit sound great till you get under load then it sounds like I'm smothering a hummingbird bird in a metal bag.

Ive got the PLM downpipe very good price and quality, and i got their intercooler as well so far so good.

 

noticeable improvement with the mods? curious on your thoughts with the PLM pieces

 

yeah man! amazing improvement especially with a k&n engine air filter and mufflers and ktuner and phearable stage 3 tune. Vroom vroom 🏎️ 🔥
