Cargo Bin Mat/Liner
Cargo Bin Mat/Liner
Are there any easy options to line the cargo bin area of a RDX? I'd like to have some sort of lining that can grip items like grocery bags better to stop them from sliding around. Either gripy plastic or fabric would work.
I'll put a towel down as a lazy solution, and when searching the forum I saw one old post with an Ikea mat, but it seemed more for spills and less to stop things from moving around.

There is a sort of rubber mesh which comes in rolls, maybe 12" wide. You can usually get it at Dollar Tree. It is really quite effective at keeping things from sliding around as long as you are not slamming on the brakes or cornering at high speed. My wife used to use it when delivering custom made cakes, and we use it all the time when transporting stuff between our houses.
This one is similar, but costs 10x as much and I actually prefer the Dollar Tree one.

I have the cargo tray / mat in the back and use a full size moving blanket which I use between the tray / mat and groceries (or what ever) and then fold it over on top of the cargo. This combination protects the bottom, the sides and the tailgate.
