Car wash

I just bought a used 2019 Rdx aspec from a family friend last week and just got a simple mobile car wash. Now with the coronavirus and all, the guy washing my car was pretty cool. He recommended to me that if I wanted to save money to sanitize the car and not pay hundred to sanitize the interior, to simply wipe the interior excluding the seats with Chlorox wipes and use a microfiber to swipe it dry immediately.

has anyone wipe their interior with chlorox wipes and is it safe or would it ruin the interior dashboard material and all?

I have used Clorox wipe and it is fine. After the wiped down, I would wait for a few minutes for it to dry and then spray and wipe down with interior treatment/protection.
Instead of Clorox wipe, I have also use alcohol spay/pad to sanitize the interior if someone else have used my car. Just remember to spray and wipe down with interior treatment/protection after.
