Speed Limit Indicator Disappeared from HUD and Dashboard
In our 2019 RDX Advanced, on our recent roadtrip to Vermont, on most larger/medium sized roads the HUD and Dashboard showed the current road's speed limit very accurately. However, on the way home, it didn't show for any roads.
Page 128 of the manual states, "Shows the current speed limit based on information compiled through the navigation system."
For the entire trip I used Apple Car Play with Google Maps for navigation. Has anyone experienced this issue, and/or fixed this? Is it just a spotty technology? After getting so used to it on the way up to Vermont, not having it on the way home was surprisingly an inconvenience. Especially with the constant speed limit changes on roads I had never driven on before. Many times it prevented me from speeding after having gone from a 65mph to 55mph zone.
PS: The car is a joy to drive on the highway.

The speed limit data is integrated with the map data of the built-in nav system. I'm not terribly surprised the system is getting confused given the current state of "integration" of CarPlay and Google Maps with the rest of the system. I'm just surprised it took exactly half the trip to get confused.
Does it get unconfused if you shut down CarPlay and launch the built-in nav system?

When I got my RDX the GPS antenna was not working. A side effect was no speed limit shown. I would suggest checking the car navigation to see if it is still working.

Noticed same behavior on recent trip from Illinois to Pennsylvania. I'd sometimes go 100's of miles with no Speed Limit in HUD/dash on large highways. No idea why, which is frustrating as I 100% agree it's very convenient and one of reasons I wanted HUD.
A benefit to Waze/Apple Maps is at least it'll show on main screen.
