I can send and receive texts if I go into messages, but I'm not getting text notifications (I have the setting turned on) and cannot check voicemail. I have a Samsung S8.

 

Think I fixed it. Had to reset the permissions on the acuralink app on my phone.

 

Well it stopped working again. No text notifications.

 

I have the S8 and do receive notifications and can have the texts read to me. I don't think it's the Acuralink that handles text messages, I could be wrong though. I thought it was Bluetooth permissions from Samsung.
