Well it happen, my 2019 RDX Map update needs a renewal. My 2021 Map is showing too often unknown roads.

This one of the reasons I won’t pay for the Navi system. I prefer a dedicated GPS and have a Garmin with lifetime updates in every car..

 

In the USA they go on sale for 30% off every spring. You may want to wait for that. Using Android Auto/Carplay is cheaper but (in my opinion) unsafe to use with the touchpad. Onboard nav has been designed to use quite safely.

Before you pay for a new map, check a 2024 in a showroom and make sure it has the roads you want before buying it.

 

I have a 2020 version in mine and would consider 1 year just to refresh the map. My daily commute takes me on a road that was built between now and then.

 

Waze or google maps works much better. I would not pay a penny for Acura Navi updates.
