I just bought a 2008 rdx from a guy who was leasing and it has 34000 miles and 13 months of warranty left. In excellent shape. Good deal?? Forgot to say what I paid. $19500
also, the navigation has not been updated. Does the update do anything other than update the maps or does it update the system as well. Good to update or not worth the money?

 

I'd say you got a decent deal on the car. The update for the GPS is mainly for the maps. I know I have an 09 RDX and my house doesn't show up on it, but it does on the 2011.

I don't think it does anything for the system itself, but it does update all the restaurant info.

I updated mine because I got tired of it telling me I was going offroading when I said go home.

 

There was one updated that "fixed" the washed out image of the reverse cam so yes it does update the system software but usually not much.

also it updates the DST changes as well.

 

New Navi disk usually are out in the fall, around Oct/Nov for about $185+shipping (if they are not running a special for $149+shipping). If you purchase any DVD disk now, the updates will be current as of the fall of 2010. I would wait until the fall before updating OR you can go on eBay and get last year disk for about $50-$100.
