It's almost like Hyundai spent the extra $50 on a adequate processor. The gauge cluster is pretty cool too.

Yeah, that is very impressive. Kudos to Hyundai and their software engineers. Maybe Honda/Acura can lure some of those braniacs to work for them.

 

Metallica and Jackson Browne? I didn't see The Motels or It's A Beautiful Day (the band).

Looks like a very nice car. The side views look a bit hokey or have you adjusted to that?

I'm not sure what is going on with Acura and their technology. It used to be that it was a few years behind but rock solid. Now it seems to be a few years behind and unstable.

My music is all over the place.. I even have Bluegrass on that USB drive. Love The Motels and need to get their catalog on there..

So far I haven't seen any critical things on the forums concerning the vehicle performance, but have seen a few fit and finish issues that resulted from transport.

 

We used to use the sax in "Total Control" (about 2 minutes 50 seconds in) to demonstrate speakers. I blew up a pair of Bose 901 using a Bose 1801 amp and that track just to prove a point to the Bose rep.

 

Thanks for posting this. I also hate the way the RDX does USB, not only is it so fricken slow, the hang ups and the music squelch/skip it will do makes me not want to even use it. If it wouldn't cost me so much to change now, I'd probably give the Palisade a serious look,

 

Geeez....first we have the Canadians rubbing it in with their fancy folding mirrors, and now Meto with his fancy infotainment system.

 

1 month in and not one hiccup when using the system.. Everything works as it is supposed to and it has never froze once or went black screen. No finger salutes to perform on this vehicle and it has exceeded my expectations. I even jumped to a 256GB USB drive and added audio books along with music and still no delay..

Absolutely flawless system and the navigation actually works and has rerouted me properly as expected when there are accidents or other traffic issues...

If you are jumping from your RDX, then definitely give the Palisade a look..

 

I hang out on the VW forums periodically and while everything else goes to shit, the infotainment and car play/AA generally work flawlessly.

I may need to look at a Palisade
