CarPlay Text Mesage Notifications

Is there a way to hear an audible beep or sound when receiving a text message while connected via Apple CarPlay? Right now when I get a message, I just see the notification pop up on the display for a couple of seconds with no notification sound. I checked my notification settings and I have everything set to allow allow.

My makes a loud beep
its some where in the set up
volume control
mine is actually too loud

I believe there is a notification volume setting in the systems menu.

Thanks! I had the phone on vibrate. Switched it to ring and now I get the notifications.

Thank for posting this! I just got a new RDX this week and one issue I was having is I couldn't believe there was no audio sound when a text message came in and I wanted to see if there was a way to change that! But now I know the problem is I have my phone on vibrate 99% of the time so it is not making noises while I am at work. Guess I will have to get into the habit of taking my phone off vibrate when I get in my RDX.
