Is Acuralink only able to work on one account? Basically, you can't sign up on a different account & remote start from another account?

My SO tried to use her phone to remote start my vehicle but Acuralink didn't allow her to use the same VIN with her account.

 

Since the recent app update, it shows my VIN as being 'in use' and will not let me use it.

• Acuralink tells me to contact the dealer.
• The dealer tells me to contact Acuralink.

So, the thought now is to unhook the battery..... not confident.

Then to have two phones hooked up to one car...wouldn't the VIN be 'in use'. Makes no sense right now.
