Water collecting in the left cargo well.

Hey I just got this 2019 RDX and when it rains hard I get a puddle in this left rear well, but no where else. The seats are dry, the mats are dry the other cargo is dry. I had no idea what the deal. The shady Acura dealer (didnt get my my truck from them) says I need a whole new sunroof. But there’s no water damage or stains in the roof.
This water was 4 days collecting. It’s usually way less than this

It is possible that the sunroof drains are clogged with leaves and debris, this is usually the cause of water ingress into the cabin. I don't think you need a whole new sunroof assembly, just a good cleaning of the drains. Try searching on here for a drain diagram.

I found an article on Reddit about the sunroof drain made out of corrugated tubing that could also contribute. I’m definitely gonna explore the drain diagram and see if I could come up with a plan to clean that out.

Yes definitely do that before shelling out 2k for a new sunroof assembly!

There is a diagram here that should give you an idea on where they are located.

Does the under floor storage bin come out for easy cleaning?
