This is more for info than anything. I had previously purchased a tube of Shin-Etsu grease for lubing the sunroof of my 2013 Accord. I stopped at my Acura dealer today to see exactly what should be greased on my 2022 RDX sunroof. The service manager looking it up and concluded “if it is rubber, and you can reach it, then grease it.” He further suggested you can do this at anytime but here in PA suggested in the spring and late fall. He suggests wiping off the rubber initially with a wet cloth, allowing some time to dry, then apply a thin coat of the silicone grease. Allow it to remain on for a 1/2 hour, then wipe off the excess.
