Transmission Oil Filter for Acura RDX 2020
Do we really need to replace "Transmission Oil Filter" when changing transmission oil for Acura RDX 2020? I asked the mechanic in the dealer they said they don't really change the filter when change transmission oil. However, I watched a video on YouTube, that guy changed the filter too

Considering Honda/Acura's notoriety for transmission failures in the past, I would be inclined to inspect the filter and replace as needed. If your trans fluid interval is at 30K, i'd probably look to replace it every other change (~60K interval) because it's cheap insurance. https://www.oemacuraparts.com/oem-pa...ItMGwtbDQtZ2Fz

I don't see a service manual there, just owner's manual and nav manual.

It is not necessary to inspect and/or replace the ATF filter as part of routine maintenance. Just make sure to follow the maintenance minder and use the recommended fluid as listed in the owner's manual.
