I purchased a 2019 Rdx and I’m planning on doing a complete fluid and filter change on the car.
I ordered all the oem fluids and the transmission filter & o-rings. I also watch the video of someone changing the transmission filter but I could not find the official procedure with the correct torque values for the bolts that hold the “transmission cooler” which holds the transmission filter in.
Can someone tell me the torque spec for these 3 bolts? Item #10 in the below diagram
It seems from the diagram to be an 8mm bolt. I would probably just do it by feel, or check it at about 15 lb ft (21 N-m). Those values are just what I found on the web with a search for 8mm bolt torque spec. The actual sealing is done by o-rings, so no need to go overboard on the tightening.
Let us know how the job goes, and how the filter looked and how many miles. Thanks.

How many miles you have? Its not a bad idea to replace the filter, but with regular fluid changes of 30-45k miles it can likely wait to 100k miles. It has no set maintenance interval to replace based on Acura.
I am also going to be changing my trans fluid. Do you plan to remove engine under cover?
But I forgot to order the filter O-ring! That is p/n O-Ring (37.7X3.5) (Arai) - Acura (91305-PN4-003).
I have a set of Quick Jacks that I will use to lift the car up. I thought the lower cover is removed the same way as the oil filter/drain cover is removed. I guess I will find out. The Youtube video the guy removed the cooler from above by taking out the air box… just a couple of bolts.
Ordered Acura's DPFS All-Wheel Drive Fluid (08200-9007A) for the rear differential but they instead the sent Honda Dual Pump Fluid II (08200-9007). Most say they are same... same part number too except the Acura DPS has an A at the end of it.
You also need washer for the fluid level plug, I can lookup part number. Also, you should change transfer fluid (needs same 2x20mm washers) since you doing all that work.
yes, if you plan to change transmission filter you can fill through the hose to which it connects. I saw the video and its somewhat involved, I will consider doing it at 100k miles perhaps.

Thank you for the comment . But I have an assortment of OEM aluminum crush washers already I have already checked on what sizes I need for all the drain and fill plugs. This is my 5 Honda so I order 10 crush washers at a time.
I order a qt of the Acura transfer case oil 75w85. So I will do that change too.
Thanks again.
